LMIT has recently installed the WiseMetering system at VGP Park Santa Maria da Feira.
The VGP group is a multinational company, present in 19 European countries, owner and manager of logistics parks.
Guided by responsible, sustainable work and combining tradition with innovation, the VGP group saw in WiseMetering an ally in the management of the utilities of its logistics complex and the appropriate tool to monitor its consumption. Wisemetering also had an essential part in VGP obtaining the BREEAM certification.
The BREEAM certification is an international evaluation system that allows for measuring the degree of environmental sustainability of buildings. In this context, WiseMetering is a fundamental tool, since it guarantees the monitoring of utilities’ consumption in the building, making this information available to those responsible for operation/management, thus fulfilling one of its requirements.
The constant follow-up of the building’s consumption and a correct parameterization of alarms, which allows the detection of excessive use, guarantees that the consumption is within the expected trend and within the stipulated objectives. As such, WiseMetering becomes an integral part of a sustainable policy for any building or retail space.
